mogulfish tap into this desire with the socio-economic cause to EAT.SHOP.LIVE LOCAL underpinning all work. It's the rallying cry, let us all unite, local stores and local customers, to ensure small businesses survive and thrive in these tough economic times.
Stores are promoted to local customers (people who live, work, or are visiting a neighborhood). The goal is to make reaching them inexpensive but highly effective. This is achieved by enabling the mogulfish network of stores to use each other and focusing on marketing within the local community (not mass media).

Local Media
When media is used, we use local media and negotiate discounted rates using the collectively buying power of our members. This provides stores the best production and media prices in town. ROI results on all marketing is provided and all activity tracked.
Local Media includes online media (e.g. guides, social networking, bloggers, search optimization, banner ads, etc) as well as neighborhood media (e.g. print, in‐venue, street teams, transit, mail) and store media (e.g. posters, business cards, tent cards, A frames, POS in partner stores, etc). mogulfish Store Guides
The mogulfish website will become the hub for the Buy Local movement that is promoted across the business. It will become the premiere destination to find local businesses and great local deals. As soon as the network has expanded across Manhattan, this component of the business model and service will be launched. A printed guide prototype has also been developed.
